I finished my first project!

Well sort of finished. The deadline was on wednesday but after getting our 'crit' the tutor said we had a week to improve it and work on it. I kind of wanted to just give it away and not have to think about it again as I feel I spent all the energy I had for it on it on tuesday night..

Oh well!

Egg Thingy Open!

It's a nice saturday today :) It's amazing how much the weather affects my mood for the day haha.

I've been finishing a friend's birthday present as I think I might possibly see her today. I got her a tiny canvas and I made her a necklace. Last week we had a tour of the 3D workshops at LCC and the technician gave us a demonstration of the laser cut machine! (I was really impressed by it.. laser!!!!) He then told us we could take any letters the machine had cut out. I took an M and a T and thought, if I drilled a hole in them they'd look good on a necklace for my friend!

I think the chain could be better for it though.. But I'd rather give MT her present as soon as possible since her birthday was already 2 weeks ago ..

I'm thinking of making her a small cake and a small card too. And maybe give her some cheese. She really loves cheese. Especially blue cheese :).

I might go on a bus ride this evening. See how far I can go out of London. Make the most of my free bus travel before it expires.. sigh..
